Bradley's 1st Plane Ride

Well I can't complain, everything went pretty smoothly except for the 40 minute delay. Now hopefully my bags made it to Denver! Bradley is such a GREAT baby BTW!! He has only fussed a bit during the flight and just now fell asleep. It was so cute...during this flight he has probably smiled about five times! Definitely hammin' it up and I love it. :-)

<p>So I am trying to become more comfortable taking Bradley out. I guess I am trying to prepare for our flight to Denver, which I'm definitely nervous for. Well yesterday I went to Target with him after he had a bottle. He only fussed a few times but he did so well! We happened to be in the baby aisle when he started to get fussy so I quickly grabbed a baby rattle and he loved it. So Bradley got his 1st toy...and so it begins!

I was reading the milestones that Bradley should be accomplishing at his age. He is definitely meeting them! YAY!!

Bradley's Milestones:
~1st smile (it wasn't gas I promise)....he has the cute open mouth side smile..so cute!!!!!! I'll try and capture it soon.
~turns head toward my or Joey's voice
~follows his toy with his eyes...I just tried this yesterday and it was the neatest thing!
~puts hand in mouth...oh yes, he loves to do this now...sometimes we can't even get his hand out of the way to feed him!
~holds his head up foor >10seconds!

I bought a baby wrap recently and I love it!! It is called My Baby Nest http://www.mybabynest.com/Position.html.. It supposedly promotes bonding and allows Mom to have her hands free.  It will be very useful in a few weeks when I have to travel with Bradley to Denver.

Good Morning!

So my morning started off by having to kill a huge roach!! Fun...oh and it is the 40 something day in a row of tempuratures over 100 degrees and still no rain! I cannot wait to get out of here.

Wake Up

Tummy Time

Well today was Joey's 1st day back at work. Today has definitely been a harder day, at least this morning was. Bradley is wanting to stay up for 2-3 hours at a time, fussy and hard to please. He one minute wants to eat,  then he is spitting the bottle out and crying the next minute. So I think I have come to the conclusion that he is probably just gassy.

So I thought maybe some tummy time might help him...well maybe for a second. hehe So Ijust  had to capture this moment !

1st Bath

So his belly button finally came off at his Dr appointment the other day. Actually the Pediatrician took it off.

I was so excited to finally give Bradley a real bath! Let me tell you he was sooo good during his bath. Didn't cry at all!

Good Morning!

1st Dr. Visit

Well Bradley had his 1st Dr. Visit! He weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz. He gained 8 oz in 2 weeks! :-) Everything is looking great!

*This is after Bradley's visit at the doctor..He had to get his blood drawn again, so the little wrap on his heel is from that. He took the stick like a champ, barely cried at all :-)
