Belton Lake/Dam/Millers Spring

Joey and I haven't had much time to explore parts of Texas yet. Mostly due to our crazy schedule and that it has been cold and rainy a lot. Well we did decide the day before our NCLEX to take a drive to Lake Belton. Very close to our house. It doesn't even compare to the beauty of Lake Powell, but it is something to look at, at least. It is a lot bigger than it looks, and interestingly enough people actually build houses right next to the lake, the parks service does't seem to exist like it does in Arizona.

We first went to Miller Springs, this is where Belton Lake's Dam releases water, creating very turbulent waters.

 

  

  

As you can see, nothing that spectacular, but it was something to do. :-)
