28 Weeks..

We are finally in the LAST TRIMESTER! Whoohoo! 2 Down , 1 to go. Well Joey this past week went to Denver to scope things out and hang with his Uncle Bill. He had such a great time, and as you can imagine even more anxious to get out of Temple. Soon, very soon. I'll have to post some pictures and video from his trip this week. While Joey was gone I visited with my Mom/Pat and sisters for Easter. Had a great relaxing time, a few pics to come as well.

Ok, I have had one hard week...I had to complete the gestational diabetes test that all pregnant women take. I failed the test by one point. My blood sugar level was 141. Grrr....1 freakin' point, seriously...If they would have drawn my blood a minute later it could have been lower and I would have passed. This is very unfortunate because the horrible Crush soda drink on steroids I had to drink for the test was so gross, and it made me feel horribly nauseated too. Next, I have to not eat or drink for 12 hours, drink twice as much drink in the morning, then go to the lab for three hours and get blood drawn a total of 4 times at different intervals. Ok...this I am not so thrilled about. So, besides failing the glucose test I recently found out I have peripheral vision loss possibly in my right eye. SO.....I have to now go see a specialist. I am praying it's nothing, but we'll see. :-(
