Yes, I do..School, work, sick baby, more school. The only way to get ahead in life anymore is to get more education, which unfortunately costs more and more every semester. Now the government and American Nurses Association want every advanced practice nurse(graduate level) to have their Doctoral Degree in Nursing...haha they say this but hopefully it never ends up being the requirement. Oh goodness.
Interesting assignment this week in school..We have to write an APA paper speaking about our learning styles using the VARK assessment. We are to compare our results with the way we have and think we learn best. Here's the funny part. They don't want us to write our paper in first person(which is standard in APA papers), we have to use three cites (not any older than 5 years old and peer reviewed), etc.. Um how do you analyze your learning styles and talk about them but not use first person...Hmmm I guess I'll just get creative..Sure it can be done, but is this really helping me learn anything in nursing or life?? Who knows.
