28 Weeks..

We are finally in the LAST TRIMESTER! Whoohoo! 2 Down , 1 to go. Well Joey this past week went to Denver to scope things out and hang with his Uncle Bill. He had such a great time, and as you can imagine even more anxious to get out of Temple. Soon, very soon. I'll have to post some pictures and video from his trip this week. While Joey was gone I visited with my Mom/Pat and sisters for Easter. Had a great relaxing time, a few pics to come as well.

Ok, I have had one hard week...I had to complete the gestational diabetes test that all pregnant women take. I failed the test by one point. My blood sugar level was 141. Grrr....1 freakin' point, seriously...If they would have drawn my blood a minute later it could have been lower and I would have passed. This is very unfortunate because the horrible Crush soda drink on steroids I had to drink for the test was so gross, and it made me feel horribly nauseated too. Next, I have to not eat or drink for 12 hours, drink twice as much drink in the morning, then go to the lab for three hours and get blood drawn a total of 4 times at different intervals. Ok...this I am not so thrilled about. So, besides failing the glucose test I recently found out I have peripheral vision loss possibly in my right eye. SO.....I have to now go see a specialist. I am praying it's nothing, but we'll see. :-(

What a cute sweetie pie! Who does he look more like, any guesses?? Maybe it is too early to tell?! :-) I think he has Joey's chin, and were not sure on the nose yet..

I love his sweet smile on the left. Makes me smile.....sigh. Then of course the second picture I love too, he looks so content, his little button nose and his petite arms resting under his head. That's how daddy and mommy sleep, the SOS position. hehe

We tried to have a 3d/4d ultrasound today, but he was not cooperating..teehee. He kept covering his face with his hands and feet. So...we are going again on Monday morning to try again! But, here is the only shot we got of his adorable, sweet, handsome face! Muah!!

Watch the right side of my belly...there is a lil bump from the baby at 14-15 seconds or so...I tried so hard to capture his movements...but sheesh he must be camera shy already! He was moving like crazy, unitl I turned the camera on. haha

22 Weeks!

Well here are a few goofy pictures of me Joey took today! So far I have had a great pregnancy. I can't complain :-) Hope the rest of the pregnancy goes as well as the 1st half! 

20th Week...

Well, I swear my belly grows more every day! Each morning I wake up and look in the mirror and usually my response is, "wow!" Time right now is cruising by, but as we discussed in my OB appointement today, that is all about to change the bigger I get, time will slowly creep. haha So Joey and I went to our 20 week apointment. The results of the ultrasound looked normal. Thank the Lord!

...So I have never had to deal with extra weight, of course this is pregnancy weight, but still!! I am getting more and more frustrated with my clothes not fitting. I think I am going to just throw them all away. haha I just need to by some real maternity clothes and maybe I will feel a wee bit better.

BTW...not like Joey and I are expecting anything, but I made a Babies R Us baby regristry. If anyone is interested they are welcome to look. It has been fun picking out things for our baby boy.
